We're looking for VOLUNTEERS to help run our fresh food store and deliveries.

Anyone can volunteer over 18 years of age. No experience required, just great commitment and willingness to be part of a dynamic team of volunteers.

Some manual handling is required, from cleaning and tidying work stations. Organising Logistics, liaising with food supplliers, fundrasing, admin duties and small event organising. You'll be sorting food and preparing grocery bags for pickup by volunteer drivers. You will be meeting other volunteers and staff to plan and organise events and fun activities.

Operating hours:

Mon, Tue 10 am to 5 pm

Wed Thurs 11 am to 6 pm

Fri - Sat 11 am to 8 pm

Positions and hours:

Grocery Pickers and Packers operate between 11 pm to 4 pm.

Delivery Drivers operate between 2 pm to 6.30pm.

Admin and Events

10 am to 3 pm

Social Media (Flexible)

The Community Hub is located at rear of: 103 Boundfield Road, Downham SE1 1PF

We are looking for volunteer drivers to collect surplus foods from local businesses and//or deliver grocery bags to our community members

Our Drivers operate flexible shifts 7 days a week between 11 am 7 pm. You can choose the times suitable to you from a range of shifts.

Befriending involves chatting to someone, accompanying them on appointments.

Befrienders operate between 4pm to 6.30pm.
